Final test
The final product in process
Their was an opening. So I decieded to tape it under it then I put toothpicks to covor the holes.
This was the same it did not help. The toothpicks did not help.
After trying this I decided to take out the cup for it to float. But I put a kabab stick and toilet paper to make a better sail.
This prototype was the beggeing of success. It was good, but the hole made it sink.
I kept everything, but put clay and tape to keep it steady (the sail).
I failed at trying to improve the sailboat

I put cardboard and tinfoil and taped my boat to it.
Then I put sticks to balance it
The product
As you can see the boat diddn't do well, so I took everything off then I put it back as it was in the beggening. And it worked!

The sailboat project
The project was to make a sailboat go across a stream with the materials our teacher (Mr. Person) gave. And to do it in the lowest and fastest time possible.
Reflection
The sailboat project was fun yet frustating, it was fun learning new things, and trying new things to improve your boat. But it was frustating when you fail, you keep trying and improving until it works. In the end mine worked, but I wanted it to be better so I added a rutter and it didn't work. So I took it all down and put it back to the original design, and it went across the stream with 4.47 seconds, and the stream is 120 cm
